This Thursday, February 6th, we present you Anachnid!

Anna-Khesic Khway Harper, known as Anachnid, is a multidisciplinary contemporary Aboriginal artist. Of Oji-Cree and Mi'kmaq origin, Anachnid expresses herself through visual arts also as a facilitator and singer, she integrates in her performances an Aboriginal culture adapted to Montreal's urban society. She is the animator in residence of the Native ART • CULTURE evenings.

Her totem animal is the spider, which inspires her to weave many themes such as: Technology and Art, Community and Identity, Nature and Urban Life, Spirituality and Reality, Tradition and Celebration. Anachnid has just released his very first album, DREAMWEAVER.

We will also have the pleasure of listening to the music of D.J. Señor Kiko who will make us dance as was the case in past evenings.
